Calcium Nitrate Buffered Coir

We offer a highly buffered coco peat. This is the flagship product of our coco collection. The coir is treated with a mixture of calcium and magnesium nitrates.

Coco coir, if used, without this pre-treatment (buffering) will create an imbalance of calcium, magnesium and the other nutrients in the soil. Buffering removes most of the residual sodium and potassium in the coir and help the roots absorb the nutrients quickly.
